Our Team

Dr. Lavoie

Dr. Lavoie

Optometrist
Hailing all the way from Saskatchewan, Canada, our fearless leader Dr. Rob Lavoie has been in practice since 1993. Did he travel here with a team of snow dogs? We don’t know for sure. Although he enjoys hockey and curling, he had to seek out more desert friendly activities such as hiking and fishing. Doc is an avid golfer who enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids as well as providing quality care to each and every one of his patients.
Claire

Claire

Office Visionary
Claire started in our optical department in 2018 and is now running the show as our Office Manager. When she is not being a superstar in the office, she can be found gardening, writing, or playing Dungeons & Dragons. Coffee, traveling, and concerts will always put a smile on her face.
Cecy

Cecy

Communications Queen
If you have called our office, you have probably spoken with our amazing Communications Queen, Cecy. Since she started in our office, she has been a busy bee keeping up with our phones and text messages to schedule appointments or answer any questions. When Cecy is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, eating great food, and is very involved in her church.
Selene

Selene

Diagnostic Duchess
Born and raised in New Mexico, Selene has been pretesting with us since 2025 and does an excellent job at making our patients feel comfortable during their appointment. When she is not at work checking out your eyeballs, you can find Selene spending time with her dogs, hiking and enjoying good Mexican food.
Anya

Anya

Eye Spy
Anya rejoined our office after moving back to New Mexico and has become our super tech! Besides the regular exam work up, she can help the doctor evaluate contact lenses and perform refractions. Away from work, she enjoys going to the gym, hiking and shopping.
Maddie

Maddie

Greetings Goat
Maddie is all about good vibes-she loves hanging out with her friends and, of course, her adorable cats! When she's not chillin with her crew, you'll find her volunteering with the kids at her church. Maddie made a great addition to our front desk team with her fun and helpful energy.
Ashlyn

Ashlyn

Frame Fasionista
As an optician, Ashlyn is passionate about helping patients find the perfect eyewear for their vision and style! Joining our office in 2025 she has been a wonderful addition. In her spare time your can find her exploring her creative side through painting and arts and crafts. And of course spending time with her furry friends.
Spencer

Spencer

Check In Champion
Spencer has been a great addition to the front desk. He is here to greet, answer your questions, and get all of your information ready before your appointment. During his down time, Spencer loves to weight lift, play basketball, and skateboard.
